Subsea autonomous survey
A concept website for an autonomous underwater survey operator, structured the way a dive is structured: it starts at the surface, it goes down, and every section is tagged to a depth.
The site opens with three words: “We read the dark.” It then spends the rest of the page refusing to embellish them.

The services section is a closed list with a number in the heading. That number is the whole argument: a survey operator that claims five capabilities is describing a fleet, and one that claims twenty is describing a brochure.
Seafloor mapping, structure inspection, persistent watch, repeat-difference surveys, and work under ice. Each one gets a sentence about what it is for, not a badge and an adjective.

The site's mission beats are the best writing on it, so this page keeps them as a log rather than turning them into cards. Timestamps are illustrative of the sequence, not telemetry from a specific dive.
HALVARD-9, DRIFTER and SOUNDER are drawn as line profiles rather than photographed, which is both honest for a concept brand and a stronger design decision: the drawings carry dimensions, and a render would have carried lighting.
One control stack across three hulls is the claim that makes the fleet coherent. It is stated once and never repeated.

The case-study section names what the campaigns produced and, more usefully, what they cost in time. There are no client logos and no percentage improvements, because a fictional operator inventing metrics would be the fastest way to lose the reader.
The charts are small, single-series and unlabelled beyond their axis: a reading of the data rather than a dashboard of it.

The depth rail is the one element that does not collapse on mobile. It narrows, the ticks move in, and the page keeps the single strongest signal it has: you are going down.
The mission log switches from three columns to stacked rows, and the timestamp stays first so the sequence still reads at a glance.
The depth rail only makes sense in motion, over the full length of the page. Built by Aspire Kinetic Network as a portfolio showcase project: technical brand writing, data-led layout, and one structural idea carried the whole way down.
