That sentence is the site's own, and it is the argument the whole page is built to support: precision is a human judgement about when to stop removing material, not a setting on a machine. Everything else follows from taking that seriously.

The brief was to write a brand that sells accuracy without ever using the word “quality”. So the copy states tolerances, dates and counts, like 12 accreditations, the earliest granted in 1923, and lets the reader draw the conclusion.

The product section is a list, not a grid of tiles. Each instrument gets a designation (M-VIII, PC-IV, CA-2), a one-line function, and a rule under it. A grid would have made four instruments look like a catalogue; a list makes them look like everything the workshop can currently build, which is the honest reading.

The site's navigation is numbered 01 to 04 for the same reason. It is a table of contents for a specification, and it tells you how long the document is before you start.

Instead of a team page, the site ends on a readout: the conditions the workshop holds, in the format a controlled environment logs them. It is the most quietly persuasive block on the page, because it is the only one that would be embarrassing to fake.

No counters animate up from zero. The numbers are simply there, monospaced and right-aligned, the way a readout would show them.
